Music

We know when music is added to a film, it lifts it up slightly. It also tells you the sort of vibe it's going out give off throughout the film.

Sam Cooke - Wonderful World - This song gives off a happy vibe throughout the opening of Hitch. It's a swing song and it tells you that the film is going to be a light and happy comedy with romance thrown in.

Jamie O'Neal - All By Myself - This gives off a depressing feel at the beginning of Bridget Jones. The words 'All By Myself' tell you that the main character is a hopeless romantic or is just hopeless at love. By what the main character is doing at the beginning of the film you can tell it's going to be a comedy, by the way the character is dancing and miming.

For our two minute opening, we're not allowed to use music that's been produced by artists. We have to create our own music. If we didn't have to create our own music, we would've had a decision to make out of:

These are all very cliched love songs to begin a film with, as why we've picked them.
